101 Years: 101 Reasons To Run

We need your support!  Come out on Saturday, August 11, 2012,  and run our 3rd Annual 5k/10k Races for Ucon!  The cost is only $15 to run and that guarantees you some pretty sweet "swag", an awesome Ucon t-shirt, and some of the best after-run goodies around! 

If you are planning on signing up the day of the race, you will need to be there and signed up by no later than 7:00 a.m., and you will need to call Casie Hammer at 208-716-0587 no later than August 7th to guarantee your shirt sizes.  Extra shirts will be ordered, but shirt sizes can only be guaranteed to those who pre-order by August 7th.

THE LONG ANTICIPATED UCON SUMMER NIGHT STREET DANCE HAS ARRIVED

From 8pm-10pm Ucon will be spinning tunes for your dancing feet to enjoy.  Young and Old are invited to stay after dinner and the presentations to enjoy the best music from THE "OLD DAYS", the "NOT-SO-OLD DAYS" and the hip stuff your TEENAGERS ARE DANCING TO TODAY. 

Admission is free and all are welcome to join.  The street dance will take place at Simmons Park.  Invite your friends, family and neighbors and come celebrate Ucon Founders Day with some high steppin' and fancy foot work!

THE MOST FAMILY FUN IN UCON!!!

Come join the fun August 11, 2012 from 4pm - 10pm at Simmons Park.  Here are some highlights!

We will have Ucons first DISC GOLF course set up.  Compete individually or in teams. No sign up needed!  Bring your own discs or use ours.
We will have two HUGE JUMPING CASTLES for the kids (sorry adults!). 
We will have a few CRAFT STATIONS for adults and kids.  Design, paint and take home your own special Ucon Boulders as well as works of art!
We will have Ucons Largest TUG 'O WAR Challenge and attempt to set a Ucon Record! 
We will have HORSE SHOE competitions running during the evening.  Bring your own horse shoes or use ours!
We will have have the worlds largest game of outdoor TWISTER to play.  don't forget to warm up!

Ucon Founders Day

Come Join Our Annual Celebration of Our Great City of Ucon!!!  We are looking forward to more fun in the sun this year.  We continue our tradition of having our early morning 5K and 10K races.  Register early to secure your spot.  This year the city will provide evening activities for the whole family instead of afternoon activities.  There will something for everyone!  After dinner and the presentations are over, put on your dancing shoes and dance the night away in our Summer Night Street Dance.  Bring your family, friends and neighbors and enjoy great activities for the family, good food, great music, and a fun atmosphere. 


Morning Activities
7:00 - 9:00 a.m. 5k, 10k, and Family Fun Run (Must Register by Aug 7th to Guarantee Shirt Sizes)
